Lemon Drizzle

Guten Tag,

How terribly naughty of me! I have missed out on days of posting! But I suspect that will often be the case. I am as useless as sticking to things as those mini prit-stick tubes you get in stationary stores nowadays. But I will have something to write about, for a change. I went to Leeds last Wednesday, and had myself a bit of a shopping spree. I bought a yellow raincoat, rather girly high-heeled pink shoes, a pair of purple skinny jeans, a pink wooly hat, a Dr. Seuss T-shirt and a cute little blue bolero. I had a lunch of orange juice and margerita pizza at a small italian restaurant which I believe was called Romagna's. I am pleased to say I kept up my no-chocolate diet and and ate a lemon and almond cake on the train home. I watched up to episode 101 of Bleach, the anime-manga series orginally written by Tite Kubo. I had a rather nasty encounter with some oil panits which lead to me getting red paint on my favourite denim skinny jeans. I still do not know if it will come out. Today I went to the local Art Gallery with my free pass, and, to tell you the truth, it was rubbish. I saved my spirit by making a trip to the library and getting three books: The Butterfly Tattoo by Philip Pullman, Princess Ai (a manga book from Tokyopop, which only took me an hour to read) and a book from the Vampire Beach series which I think might have been called Hunted. I just ate a rather delicious slice of Mum's Lemon Drizzle Cake. I have been listening to MGMT and Ladyhawke lately, rather mainstream compared to my normal choices.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Good Evening,

I sense love in the air on this wonderful day. I have spent most of today watching Bleach as I did last night, so I did not get much love myself. I hope it has not been the same for others. Make the most of this magical evening. I have nothing else to say.

Bleach

Hello,

I finished my story today, and got 90/100 in my test. After school I took the dog for a walk, and had Spaghetti Bolagnase and Jam Sponge cake for tea - very nice. I started watching an anime TV series called Bleach, which is very good, and I am keeping this short so I can watch some more. When I look back on the day it seeems all jumbled up. Quite strange.

Drift

Buon pomeriggio,

Today it snowed. Heavier than ever before. But it was... angellic. I seemed to drift off at every and any given moment - helplessly - hopelessly. The only reality being the people around me, the clouds above me, and the ground beneath me. Though if you'd asked, I'd've probably not noticed it was all there. I seemed to hover about, music playing in my mind, and a story slowly unravelling like a flowing robe of red silk. I have to write a story in English, yet I only have two days, today being the first. Turns out in yesterday's Maths test I came third over all, and was the first girl by miles. That's, well, pleasant... I suppose. Mother would not let me go out for a walk in the heavy snow. I guess that'd be fair, except it's me. The girl who loves the cold waits for snow for years on end and when it comes? She cannot go outside. Yet life goes on. I think.

Emotional Code

Bra eftermiddag,

Today was slightly different. We did tests in Maths (fairly easy, if I do say so myself) and in English we did some auditary learning. We listened to War Of The Worlds and drew what we imagined. People did a very realistic sort of picture, but I was completely surreal. I drew different symbols and went round them in red crayon. The line was jagged for angry or physical things, and flowing for mystery. It's quite hard to describe, but, anyway, whilst explaining it to my friend, I realised it was like some sort of emotional code. The music was very powerful, electric and noisy - all its emotion made me feel good (a bit like Sara Barielles's Love Song). I mentioned that it made me feel sleepy to my friend and he looked at me like I was crazy or something. I guess I'm used to that. Everyone calls me 'weird' or 'strange' - I like it that way. I had orange juice, grapes and an apple for lunch. The three portions of fruit made me feel wonderful.
As I took the dog for a walk I had a short conversation (or you could call it someone making fun of me) with the newspaper boy, his dog, Ellie, and friend. They asked me if the dog was mine, I said 'Aye', they asked me if I was Scottish or something, and I said 'No - well, half.'
That's pretty much all the interesting bits summed up. By the way, I'm not being rude, 'Bra eftermiddag' means 'Good Afternoon' in Swedish.
