Artistic Splatter

Hola,

No, I'm very sorry to disappoint you but I do not have any artwork for you today. I might do soon, though, coming to think of it. Today was mostly art - hence the title - which, if I do say so myself, is one of my better subjects.
The day was, normal - a nicer way of saying boring - in general. The playground frosted over, and many were skidding around on the ice. That only made my day harder. But it had melted by half past ten, thankfully. After a rather tedious Maths lesson with the eccentric substitute, we had English. Lovely, wonderful English. We drew pictures today, showing what we thought a scene looked like out of a choice of four text extracts. I drew a wood, and coloured it in with watercolour pencils - we're finishing it all on Monday. Then, in the afternoon, we had to copy a picture of a midnight harbour, and colour it in with chalk pastels (a basic excuse for the teacher to get some marking done). It was messy, but, over all, relaxing. Then we had a rather boring end-of-week assembly, and went home. My brother came back from university to stay for the weekend, which is nice. We had Chicken Pie for tea, followed up by magic Lemon Pudding and Vanilla Icecream (yum yum). Best of all? We might be having Domino's Pizza for tea tomorrow.
